The Poteet Junior High Kindness Club is dedicated to spreading positivity and compassion throughout our campus and community. This student-led group fosters empathy, inclusion, and respect by organizing school-wide initiatives, service projects, and small acts of kindness that make a big difference. Whether it’s writing uplifting notes, welcoming new students, or supporting local causes, the Kindness Club works to create a culture where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

What We Do:

Meetings: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month
Members: Limited to 50 students — spots fill fast!
Open to all students who are passionate about making a difference and believe that even the smallest gesture can brighten someone’s day.

Annual Activities Include:

  • Anti-Bullying Rally – Held every October at the Strawberry Festival Grounds, where we stand up for kindness and inclusion.

  • Valentine’s Day Carnation Sale – Students prep and sell $1.00 carnations to classmates, making it easy and affordable to spread love and kindness to everyone.

  • Dance Decorating – Club members help decorate for school dances to make them extra special and fun.

  • Athlete Spirit Support – During football season, we create banners and signs to encourage our Aggie athletes and build school pride!
